Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for purchases of Nikatru apps, games and digital content. Because our products are digital goods delivered electronically, the terms below apply. Who handles your refund depends on who sold you the product, and your receipt names them.

1. Purchases billed by an app store

If you bought an app, subscription or in-app item inside an app from a store that requires its own billing system — the Apple App Store, Google Play — then that store took the payment. It is the seller for that purchase and handles refunds and cancellations under its own policy, so please request a refund directly through it:

2. Purchases where Paddle is the seller

Everywhere else — nikatru.com, the Microsoft Store, and our direct downloads for Windows, macOS and Linux — the seller is Paddle, acting as our merchant of record. Paddle, and not Nikatru, is the legal seller of those purchases: it takes the payment, issues the receipt, and issues any refund back to your original payment method. Your receipt names the Paddle entity you contracted with. We do not sell anything directly from this website today; this is the arrangement that will apply when we do, and the terms below are the refund policy we will apply to those purchases:

3. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] within 7 days of the charge with your order/transaction ID and the reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days. For a purchase billed by an app store, the store decides — we can help you with it, but we cannot issue that refund ourselves. For a purchase where Paddle is the seller, we authorise the refund and Paddle returns the money.

4. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by whoever took the payment — the app store, or Paddle — normally within 5–7 business days after approval. Timing on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
