Subscription Tracker

Add a subscription

Pick a popular service or add one by hand, with its price, cycle and next renewal date.

Open the board and choose Add subscription.

  • Pick a service. Search the list of popular services; picking one fills in what we know about it. You can change every field before you save.
  • Add by hand. If the service is not in the list, choose Add by hand and type its name.

Then fill in the price, the cycle (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or a custom number of days, weeks, months or years), the next renewal date and a category. Optional fields: the plan name, notes, the website where you cancel, and how you pay (card, UPI Autopay, net banking or NACH, App Store, Google Play, PayPal).

Choose Done to save. If you are offline, your entries are kept and saved when you are back online.

Add your renewals to a calendar

A private calendar link shows every renewal date in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

In Settings, choose Add to calendar. You get a private link to a calendar feed of your renewal dates; add it to any calendar app as a subscribed calendar.

The link is private: anyone who has it can see your renewal dates. If you shared it by mistake, choose Reset calendar link — the old link stops working, and Add to calendar gives you a new one.

Cancel a subscription with the provider

The tracker shows you where to stop the charge: the provider, the store, your bank or your UPI app.

The tracker cannot cancel anything for you — it shows you where. Open the subscription and choose Stop or remove, then Stop the charge.

  • Bought through Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, the service, and Cancel subscription.
  • Bought through the App Store: open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, Subscriptions, the service, and Cancel Subscription.
  • Paid by card, UPI Autopay or NACH: cancel with the provider first, on its website or app. Then remove the standing instruction: in your bank's app or card portal (card e-mandates), in the UPI app you approved it in under Autopay or Mandates, or with your bank (NACH).

Keep the confirmation you are sent. When the provider confirms, choose Yes, mark it cancelled — its reminders stop and its history stays.

Categories

Use the built-in categories or add your own, and rename or delete them.

Built-in categories include Streaming, Music, AI tools, Creative, Fitness, Developer, Productivity, Cloud, News, Security and Other.

In Settings, choose Categories to add your own, or to rename or delete one. To move a subscription, edit it and pick a new category.

Change your currency

Your home currency is used for new subscriptions; existing amounts are not converted.

In Settings, choose Currency. New subscriptions are entered in this currency. Changing it does not convert amounts you already entered.

A single subscription can have its own currency: set Currency when you add or edit it. Totals and the budget count the subscriptions in your home currency.

Edit, pause or delete a subscription

Change a subscription's details, pause its reminders, or remove it from the tracker.

Open the subscription from the board, then:

  • Edit plan changes any field: price, cycle, renewal date, category, notes.
  • Stop or remove gives you four choices: stop the charge (we show you where to cancel), pause it (it stays on your list and its reminders stop until you resume), I already cancelled (it is marked cancelled and its history stays), or just remove it from the tracker.

Removing a subscription from the tracker does not cancel it with the provider. A delete can be undone from the message that appears straight after it.

Export your data

Download every subscription as a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet.

In Settings, choose Export data (CSV). You get one file with every subscription, which opens in any spreadsheet app.

Track a free trial

Record when a trial ends and what it will cost after, and get a reminder before the first charge.

When you add or edit a subscription, turn on Free trial and set when the trial ends and the price then (after the trial). The board shows "Free trial until …, then …", and you get a Free trial ending reminder before the first charge.

Use the Trial filter on the board to see every subscription on a trial.

Insights

See your monthly and yearly spend, the next 30 days of charges and your biggest costs.

Insights shows your spend per month or per year, the next 30 days of charges, your biggest subscription, and spend by category as bars or a table.

Worth a look points out things to check: several plans in the same category, a large yearly charge coming soon, and plans you may not use. "Still using it?" is a question — the tracker cannot see your usage, so it asks.

Set a monthly budget

Set what you want to spend a month and see what is left.

On Insights, choose Set a budget and enter what you want to spend a month. The card then shows what is used and what is left, and tells you when you are over.

Plans in a currency other than your home currency are not counted in the budget, because the tracker does not convert between currencies.

Record a payment and see the history

Mark a renewal as paid and see every payment and price change on the subscription's page.

Open a subscription and choose Mark as paid to record a payment you already made — no money moves. Enter the amount and the date, then Save payment.

The subscription's page shows its payment history and every price change (for example, "Price rose from … to … on …").

Renewal reminders

Get a notification, an e-mail or a calendar entry before a subscription renews.

Before each renewal, the tracker can remind you in three ways. Choose in Settings, under reminders:

  • Notifications on this device — at the lead time and hour you pick (for example, 2 days before at 9:00).
  • Email me before renewals — sent to your account email.
  • Add to calendar — a private calendar feed of your renewal dates for any calendar app.

Each subscription uses your default, or its own: open it and choose Reminders. A paused or cancelled subscription is not reminded.

No reminder arrived? Check that notifications for the app are allowed in your system settings (the app says Blocked in system settings when they are not). Some devices and the web cannot schedule notifications; use email or the calendar feed there.

Report a problem

Send us a description, an optional blurred screenshot and the diagnostics you see before you send.

In Settings, under Help, choose Report a problem. Pick a category, describe what happened, and optionally attach a screenshot of the screen you were on. Text fields and private values such as amounts and email addresses are blurred on your device before anything is sent, and you can blur more.

You see exactly what will be sent before you send it. Tick "you may reply to me" for a receipt and a reply, or "tell me when it is fixed" for one email when the fix ships. Reports are kept for 90 days.

Sync across devices and offline use

Your subscriptions sync to every device you sign in on; changes made offline sync when you reconnect.

Sign in with the same account on each device and your subscriptions sync between them.

Changes you make offline are kept on the device and sent when you are back online. If a change cannot sync, the app tells you how many and lets you try again or discard them.

Your Nikatru account and support

Delete your account

Delete your account and its data from the app or from nikatru.com.

Delete your account in the app (Settings, Account & data) or on the delete account page. Your account and its data are deleted, including your problem reports.

Deleting your account does not cancel a purchase made in the App Store or Google Play: manage it in that store's own purchase settings. See pricing and the refund policy for plans.

Log out of all devices

Sign out every device signed in to your account at once.

In Settings, choose Log out of all devices, then Log out everywhere. Every device signed in to the account, including this one, needs to sign in again. If you think someone else knows your password, change it too.

Report a problem or ask a question

Tell us what went wrong, or ask anything, from the support page; we reply within 2 business days.

Use the Report a problem form on the support page. Choose what kind of problem it is (choose A question to ask anything), describe it, and send. You do not need an account.

Tick "you may reply to me" and give your email address if you want an answer; we reply within 2 business days. Your report goes to our private support system, never to a public page.

From an app, choose Report a problem under Help in Settings; from FullShot, use Open the report form in its options.

Is something down?

The status page shows whether each Nikatru service is working right now, and what went wrong before.

The status page lists each Nikatru service — the websites, the apps, sign-in and sync — and whether it is working. It is updated when a service changes state, and at least once a day.

A service our checks cannot see yet is shown as "not monitored", never as working. Past problems, what broke and what we did about them, are listed under incident history.

If the status page says everything is working but something is wrong for you, report a problem.

Sign-in problems

Fix a sign-in link that did not arrive, a forgotten password, or being signed out.

  • No email? Check your spam folder, wait a minute, then choose to resend the link. If you typed the wrong address, choose Sign up with a different email.
  • Forgot your password? Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and follow the email.
  • Signed out? Your session ended — sign in again. If you chose Log out of all devices, every device needs to sign in again.

Fix missing images or repeated headers

Lazy images, sticky headers, pop-ups and inner scroll areas each have an option.

Open Options, under Capture:

  • Hide fixed & sticky elements — stops headers repeating on every screen.
  • Pre-scroll to load lazy content and Wait for images to decode — for blank or black images.
  • Hide banners & pop-ups — removes cookie banners and newsletter pop-ups first.
  • Expand scrollable content — grows inner panels and frames to their full content.
  • Click "load more" buttons and Scroll to load infinite feeds — for feeds.
  • Extra delay per step — raise it for slow, animated pages.
